Takutu River Experience

Get picked up at your hotel in Lethem and taken to the riverside. We go through safety briefing and oreintation on kayaking and paddle boarding techniques before setting out on a serence paddle acorss the Takutu’s tranquil waters. As you head towards the iconic Takutu Bridge, you will have the chance to take photos of the surroundings as well a the structure othat links Guyana and Brazil before paddling nack to a serence spot. Try your hand at traditional fishing with simpe tools. As the sun sets, gather around a cackling bonfire to listen to stories from your guides and indulge in a selection of regional drinks and snacks. This enchanting evening, set against a backdrop of natural beauty, offers a perfect blend of adventure, local tradition and relaxation. With the day’s adventure etched in your memory, you’ll be comfortably transported back to your pick up point, ending your day on a perfect note.
