Visit Rupununi is the leading regional organization in Guyana. It has developed synergies with Guyana Tourism Authority (GTA) and Tourism and Hospitality Association of Guyana (THAG), the Protected Areas Commission (PAC) etc. The entity provides support to the regional tourist actors with training and advocacy on their behalf. With VR’s overall goal to effectively support the growth of the Rupununi tourism product and its needs to continue to represent the interests of all tourism stakeholders, there are donors, consortium partners and implementing partners that need to be acknowledged.
